- **Production area:** Heart of the commune of Barbaresco. The Camp Gros vineyard is part of Martinenga, on the eastern side of the amphitheatre. South/southwest facing at an altitude between 240m and 290m a.s.l.

- **Vinification:** Vinification on skins with eight to ten days of fermentation with floating cap at controlled temperature, followed by twenty to thirty days of maceration with submerged cap and daily pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation follows the alcoholic fermentation. Aged in French oak barriques for twelve months, then a further sixteen months in Slavonian oak casks, followed by bottle ageing before release.

## Summary

The estate's top selection, produced since 1978 only in the best vintages from a small part of the Martinenga vineyard toward Rabaja.

## Tasting notes

Colour: vivid, bright garnet red with orange reflections. Bouquet: intense notes of violet and dried rose petals accompanied by scents of hay and confit, with nuances of sweet tobacco, liquorice and leather. Taste: full, harmonious, velvety and embracing, with intense balsamic notes and a long, balanced finish.

Particularly well suited to wild game and other important red meat dishes, as well as aged cheeses.
