- **Producer:** Sottimano
- **Style:** Red
- **Denomination:** Barbaresco DOCG
- **Grape:** Nebbiolo
- **Cru / vineyard:** Cottà
- **Production area:** Neive
- **Vinification:** After a careful selection of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation happens spontaneously. Long maceration on the skins and a period of submerged cap are followed by racking into wood, where malolactic fermentation completes. The wine then rests in bottle for about a year before release.

## Summary

Barbaresco DOCG from the Cottà cru in Neive, one of the earliest sites in the area used for single-vineyard Barbaresco.

## Tasting notes

Liquorice notes with a light touch of smoke; dried rose dominates the floral scents. Delicate on the palate, yet with plenty of aromatic persistence and well-balanced tannins.
