Estate-wide, Marcarini's vineyards are pruned to limit yield, maintained with organic composting and controlled grassing over of the rows, and vine diseases are treated with traditional methods.
- **Vinification:** Grapes are picked fully ripe and fermented by traditional methods, then aged in Slavonian oak barrels before bottling, where the wine continues to evolve.

Intense, clear garnet colour with warm ruby-red reflections; a full, characteristic, complex and persistent bouquet; an austere, warm and full-bodied palate with sweet tannins and superb balance.
