## Summary

The estate's most traditional Barbaresco, a Riserva made only from the oldest vines of the Vigna Giaia plot within the Nervo cru, named for the yellow colour its leaves take on early each autumn.

## Tasting notes

Colour: deep garnet red with orange highlights. Nose: broad, with notes of nuts and sun-dried fruit, raspberry, jam and plums, floral notes of wilted violets and geraniums, and sweet spices like cinnamon, vanilla and tobacco. Taste: warm and intense, tannic, with great structure and persistence.

## Food pairings

Red meat, game, aged cheeses; also good with chocolate
