## Summary

A Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC, 100% Barbera, aged 24 months (12 in casks and tonneaux, 12 in bottle). Robert Parker rated the 2019 vintage 91 pts.

## Tasting notes

Very intense ruby red colour. Complex and intense bouquet with ripe berry fruit mixed with a good hint of vanilla; round, harmonious, very complex on the palate, with excellent persistence and flavour, a wine of exceptional finesse and considerable class.

## Food pairings

Goes well with typical fresh Piedmontese pasta, roast red and white meats, game and spicy cheeses.
