- **Vinification:** Grapes crushed and destemmed immediately after picking, then macerated for 22 to 28 days in special tanks for gradual extraction. Matured traditionally in oak casks and for a period in the bottle.

## Summary

The Riserva version of the Ginestra cru Barolo DOCG, from older vines with a longer maceration, made from 100% Nebbiolo.

## Tasting notes

Dark garnet red. Elegant, round nose with lingering fruity, spicy, balsamic and mineral undertones. Strong, warm body with powerful aromas and well balanced flavours. Long, intense finish, with a cellar life extending to over fifteen years.

Roast veal, rump steak cooked in Barolo wine, mature cheeses.
