- **Vinification:** Destemmed and pressed, then ferments and macerates 3 to 6 weeks in stainless steel, finishing maceration with the traditional submerged-cap technique. Aged around 30 months, or up to 3 full years when structure allows, in 25-50 hectolitre Slavonian and Austrian oak barrels about 15 years old. Only one barrel of this wine is produced per year.

Producer's note on the 2015 vintage: an extremely dynamic expression of the Vecchie Vigne, robust and nervous, light in colour and immediate on the nose, showing the grit of the vintage on the palate.
