- **Production area:** In the Paiagallo MGA in the municipality of Barolo, distinguished by gentle, rounded contours; expanded by 0.65 hectares through the 2017 merger with Alessandro Veglio's neighbouring vineyard, the estate's first joint bottling from which was the 2016 vintage.
- **Soil:** Marly sandy soils.
- **Exposure:** South-east to easterly.
- **Vineyard planting:** Planted in the middle of the 1980s.
- **Vinification:** Maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 20-25 days, starting with cold maceration (10°C) for the first 48 hours and gentle extraction with a couple of daily pump-overs. After racking, malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel. Around December the wine is stored in a 30 hl oak barrel for a total of 24 months. After decanting in stainless steel, it is bottled without fining or filtration.

## Tasting notes

Light ruby red with faint garnet notes. Extremely fruity, delicately harmonious aromas with hints of strawberry and raspberry. Fine and elegant on the palate, with good persistence and a finish of remarkably soft tannins. Drinking well already, with the potential for great longevity.
