## Summary

Massolino's only Barolo grown outside Serralunga d'Alba, from a single vineyard on the crest of a hill in Castiglione Falletto, made since 2007.

## Tasting notes

Deep garnet red. Ethereal, enveloping bouquet of sweet spices, sandalwood, tobacco and leather. Great structure with tannin that softens with time, and a very long finish typical of Castiglione Falletto.

## Food pairings

Pairs with the region's rich, traditional cuisine, stewed meats and medium to long matured cheeses.
