- **Producer:** Marenco
- **Style:** White
- **Denomination:** Monferrato DOC Bianco
- **Grape:** Caricalasino 100%
- **Cru / vineyard:** Carialoso
- **Production area:** Strevi
- **Vineyard planting:** Caricalasino is a rare native Piedmontese white grape, once grown alongside other whites and later abandoned in favour of the more profitable Cortese; the Marenco family replanted it and helped save it from extinction. It arose from a natural cross between Timorasso and the Ligurian grape Crovin di Perti.

- **Serving temperature:** Serve in medium-large glasses at 12°C.
- **Storage:** Store in a cool, dark place; let the bottle rest a few minutes after opening. Suited to ageing.
