- **Vinification:** Skins ferment at 28-30°C for 20 days with délestage and pumping over. Malolactic fermentation in 225 and 500 litre French oak barriques, with prolonged ageing on fine lees, batonnage and 20 months in wood, followed by 5 years in the bottle at a controlled temperature.

- **Storage:** 0.75L, 1.5L formats. Made only in exceptional vintages; the 2017 harvest produced 1,866 bottles plus 100 magnums.

## Tasting notes

Dark, dense ruby red. Complex, broad and enveloping bouquet balancing ripe dark cherry and blackberry with coffee, cocoa and a light balsamic note. Full and well-structured on the palate, with a silky tannic texture and persistent finish.
