## Summary

A single-vineyard Barbera from Vigna Colombe, aged about 18 months in large oak casks. About 3,500 bottles a year, 14.5% vol.

## Tasting notes

Deep ruby red with garnet reflections, intense and consistent. Fruity notes of blackberry and blueberry, almost jammy, with floral (dog rose, violet) and spicy (liquorice, green pepper) notes, vanilla and tertiary notes from the wood. Balanced, full-bodied, with good freshness and longevity.

## Food pairings

Great dishes of Piedmontese cooking: tagliatelle with hare ragu, roasts and braised meats, game and aged cheeses.
