## Summary

Barbaresco DOCG from the Valeirano cru in Treiso (CN), 100% Nebbiolo, first produced in 1997 with about 7,000 bottles a year. A Riserva version aged at least 10 years is also made, about 300 magnums a year.

## Tasting notes

Valeirano displays surprising minerality, supported with phenomenal structure. Hints of tea leaf and balsamic notes on the nose and palate recur. The finish is intense, while tannins are noble.
