## Summary

Pinot Nero from selected clones grown on the estate's hills, helped by the Apennine breeze, aged a year in French oak.

## Tasting notes

Intense, brilliant garnet red. Fragrant, exuberant when young, with rose, raspberry and jasmine, developing a complex bouquet with age; with ageing spicy and balsamic tones (juniper, clove, sweet tobacco). Intense body, rich, warm, with a velvety tannic weave. Notes of raspberry, redcurrant and wild strawberry.

## Food pairings

Whole meal: pasta with meat sauces, cured meats and salami, game, braises, polenta, agnolotti, fonduta, mushrooms and truffles.
