## Summary

Il Montino is La Colombera's single-vineyard Timorasso, grown at 250 m on light and dark clayey soils; the producer describes it as the estate's most awarded wine.

## Tasting notes

The first years in bottle release a fruity peach fragrance, acacia and hawthorn blossom aromas and cotton candy, with a powerful scent of honey. When young the hydrocarbon and mineral notes are less distinct, but three to four years of bottle ageing make the wine even more appealing. With further ageing it releases intense tertiary fragrances, where mineral and flintstone notes prevail together with resinous and hydrocarbon scents.
