## Summary

A classic Barbera d'Asti DOCG blended from several estate hillside vineyards, able to age 5 to 7 years.

## Tasting notes

Crimson red changing to garnet red after a few years of ageing. Intense stone fruit (mostly cherries), strawberries, violets, occasionally almonds. Tasty and full bodied, with enjoyable acidity and light but clear tannins that soften with ageing.

## Food pairings

Red and grilled meat, charcuterie and cheese, soups and venison; fat and tasty dishes that highlight its mouth cleaning quality.
