## Summary

'1500' is a pure Pinot Noir, a trial batch equivalent to 1,500 bottles, the same blend as Bricco del Falco, aged two years in a Vinooxygen tank patented by the estate's oenologist Andrea Elegir.

## Tasting notes

Less marked by wood since it is vinified in a 33 hl Vinooxygen tank, so it plays on balsamic notes and vivid fresh fruit that returns on the retro-nasal olfaction. On the palate it is true to its Pinot Noir character, with good structure from the very warm 2017 vintage, but great balance.

## Food pairings

Pinot Noir's versatility works with a wide range of dishes, from simple starters to hearty salads, pasta and fish such as smoked salmon, and with more structured white meats like pork loin or chicken cacciatore with roasted vegetables, or red meats such as veal steaks or venison.
