Bright ruby red, fairly transparent, tending to garnet with age. Elegant and refined nose of violet and small red fruits, estery notes and delicate spice. Balanced and full-bodied on the palate, with velvety tannins and freshness; long, lingering finish. Reaches its peak after at least 5 to 10 years.
