## Summary

A closely guarded small plot in Barolo commune where an ancient sand dune gives the wine its cherry-and-rose character and silky tannin.

## Tasting notes

Opens with red cherry, morello cherry, blueberry, strawberry and plum, alongside violet and other delicate floral notes, then sweet spice, dark chocolate, nutmeg and clove next to black pepper, fresh mint and orange zest. Fresh, persistent, elegant palate with a fine granular tannin; floral and citrus notes support the acidity; mineral finish with red fruit and limestone.
