- **Vinification:** Destemming and crushing. Traditional fermentation at controlled temperature for about 10-15 days, with pump-overs to extract the polyphenolic substances. Matured in large 75 hl Slavonian oak casks, then aged in steel until bottling. A second page for the same wine states at least three years in large Slavonian oak and not less than six months in bottle.

## Tasting notes

Brilliant red tending to garnet. Intense bouquet with notes of ripe red fruit, plum and spice. Full, harmonious and velvety, with pleasant tannins and long persistence. A wine of great structure and great longevity.

Perfect with rich Piedmontese cooking. Ideal with red meat, roasts, lamb and game, truffle dishes and aged cheeses. A pleasant companion at the end of a meal.
