- **Vinification:** Destemming and crushing. Traditional fermentation at controlled temperature for about 10-15 days, with pump-overs to extract the polyphenolic substances. Matured in large 55 hl Slavonian oak casks, then aged in steel until bottling. A second page for the same wine states at least two years in large Slavonian oak and six months in bottle.

## Tasting notes

Brilliant red tending to garnet. Intense, ethereal bouquet with notes of red berry fruit and spice. Full, soft, well balanced and refined, with elegant tannins.

## Food pairings

Perfect with red meat, lamb and cheeses; goes with rich first courses such as risotto and egg pasta. A perfect after-dinner companion.
