Colour: ruby red with intense aubergine-violet reflections. Nose: pink pepper and nutmeg, then dog rose, hawthorn, wild strawberries and cherries in spirit. Palate: coffee, toasting and graphite; elegant tannins, notes of dark chocolate jam and a persistent liquorice finish.
