## Summary

Barolo from the Vigna Mandorlo plot in the Scarrone subzone of Castiglione Falletto; the label reproduces the vine rows at the foot of Castiglione Falletto castle and a stylised almond.

## Tasting notes

Rich in polyphenols, giving an intense, deep garnet red colour and a powerful, austere structure that is nonetheless pleasant on nose and palate. Notes of spices, liquorice, tobacco and white truffle emerge with bottle age.

## Food pairings

Excellent with red meats, roasted, skewered or grilled, and especially with wild game.
