## Summary

The estate's Barolo Riserva from the Mandorlo plot in Scarrone, aged nearly four years in French oak before release; selected grapes, hand-harvested.

## Tasting notes

Garnet red with light tinges of orange. Complex and evolving bouquet of rose and blood orange, with spicy and ethereal notes of liquorice, tobacco and white truffle. Warm, persistent and well-structured on the palate, with a marked sapidity from the vineyard's sandy-marly soil.

## Food pairings

Excellent with red meat, roasted, skewered or grilled, and with wild game.
