## Summary

A 100% Cabernet grown at Carpeneto, one of the estate's international-variety reds alongside its native Piemontese wines.

## Tasting notes

Deep ruby with a purple rim. Intense, fine and complex on the nose, with mountain hay, ripe plum, blackcurrant, cinnamon and wood. Dry, full-bodied, warm and properly astringent on the palate, persistent, with a bitterish finish.

## Food pairings

Suited to freshly made pasta with rich sauces, risotto, meat and long-aged cheese.
