## Summary

Ovada DOCG made from 100% Dolcetto grown at Rocca Grimalda and aged in oak; the estate's structured, cellar-worthy red, named after a traditional vineyard-stake practice.

## Tasting notes

Deep red with a purple rim. Very intense, fine and persistent on the nose, with ripe cherry, blueberry, blackberry, plum, white pepper, balsamic mountain herbs, liquorice and wood. Dry, full-bodied, warm and pleasantly tannic on the palate, with a long, tannic, slightly bitter finish.
