## Summary

Grown on the sandy soils of the Roero around Canale, Poggio di Caro is the estate's crisp, fruit-forward Arneis, described as representing the younger part of the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato UNESCO area.

## Tasting notes

Straw yellow with golden reflections, an attractive, fragrant nose of apple, pear, chamomile, tropical fruit and a fresh mineral character, with typical Arneis aromatics, and a fresh, dry, delicate, harmonious, pleasantly fruity palate with medium body and a pleasant mineral aftertaste.

## Food pairings

Rice, pasta with light sauces, fish and white meats; also good as an aperitif.
