## Summary

A Nizza DOCG made from 100% Barbera, aged 24 months in French oak tonneaux with further ageing in bottle.

## Tasting notes

Ruby red turning to garnet with age. Soft and enveloping on the nose, with notes of red fruit, especially cherry and plum. Structured, round and balanced on the palate, with long persistence and a slightly spicy finish. Recommended in a large, bulbous, tulip-shaped glass.

## Food pairings

Pairs magnificently with fresh pasta with meat or mushroom ragu, roasted and braised red meats, game, truffle dishes and hard aged cheeses.
