## Summary

Favorita is the Piedmontese counterpart to Liguria's Vermentino, said to have been favored by La Bela Rusin, lover of King Vittorio Emanuele II of Savoy. Servaj, from 'selvaggio' (wild), recalls the steep, sandy hills of Roero where it is grown.

## Tasting notes

Lemon-green color with citrusy nose and blossom notes; nice freshness in the mouth and good drinkability.

## Food pairings

Perfect as aperitivo, as well as with fish starters. Good with fresh goat cheese.
