Aged in steel, blended in spring; released within 2 months. The producer says sulphite additions are kept very low across the whole range.

## Tasting notes

Dark ruby red with violet shades. Fresh but intense, clean aroma of small berries and cherry. Dry, with good body. Average life of the wine: 2 years.

Suits the whole meal: Piedmontese starters such as raw meat, stuffed peppers, cured and cooked salami and vitello tonnato; first courses such as agnolotti and lasagne; white meats, rolls and skewers; medium-aged cheeses.
