## Summary

An award-winning Barbera made for over thirty years from the estate's oldest and highest vineyard, on the hill under which the Caves of Pietra da Cantoni are dug.

## Tasting notes

Appearance: intense, deep ruby red. Nose: black cherry, berries, blackberry, strawberry jam and redcurrant, with hay, aromatic herbs and floral notes. Palate: harmonious, intense, full and exquisitely soft; the fresh palate meets the richness of the fruit and the structure of alcohol and oak, for great persistence.

## Food pairings

Versatile: tasty first courses, red and white meats, medium-aged cheeses.
