## Summary

A varietal Grignolino, an ancient native grape harvested entirely by hand; the estate calls its light garnet colour a valid alternative to rose or white wine.

## Tasting notes

Colour: garnet red with an almost orange rim. Bouquet: floral hints of slightly dried wild rose and blackberry, with spicy notes of clove, cinnamon and ground white pepper typical of Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese. Taste: fresh, savoury and warm, with the right, typical tannins.

## Food pairings

Mediterranean and Asian dishes based on fish and aromatic herbs.
