## Summary

Dogliani DOCG Dolcetto blended from a selection of different vineyard plots, an easier-drinking style than the estate's Pirochetta selection.

## Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with a violet rim. The nose opens fresh with varietal notes of red fruit and undergrowth: cherries, sour cherries, redcurrants and raspberries give a profile of notable intensity and clarity. The palate is pleasant, with a harmonious interplay of tannic and floral sensations; compared to the Pirochetta selection this is an easier-drinking, juicy wine, with a fruity finish.

## Food pairings

Ideal with cured-meat and vegetable starters in the Piedmontese tradition, especially summer tomato salad. Perfect with minestrone and pasta, and also good with white meats and tomato sauces.
