## Summary

Langhe DOC Nebbiolo from vineyards planted in 2003 and 2017, showing a softer, silkier style than Nebbiolo from the nearby Barolo zone.

## Tasting notes

Slightly light garnet red at the rim. The nose opens with varietal notes of dried rose, violet and wet earth, with spice emerging later. The palate is softer than powerful, finer than tannic: the variety's typical austerity, well known from the Barolo area, gives way on Dogliani's tufaceous hills to looser, silkier tannins, gaining in drinkability and roundness.

## Food pairings

Nebbiolo is one of the most versatile wines, able to adapt to the dish rather than the other way round. It shows best with red meats such as braised or stewed dishes and boiled meats, but this selection highlights its dynamic, easy-drinking, pleasurable character, making it a good all-purpose food wine.
