Barbera d'Alba DOC from the Mulassa vineyard in Canale d'Alba, made from 100% Barbera and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for structure and balance.

## Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with a garnet edge. Lively, elegant nose with ripe fruity notes of cherry, plum and blackberry, plus light tobacco and coffee from wood ageing. Full-bodied, well-balanced, with a long, persistent aftertaste.

## Food pairings

Dishes with an evident sweet tendency and good fattiness, complex main courses, red grilled meat.
