- **Vinification:** Grapes are hand-harvested into small perforated baskets, immediately destemmed but not pressed, and undergo whole-berry fermentation in small 500-litre oak barrels with periodic soft manual punch-downs; racked a couple of days after fermentation, then decanted into the same barrels for malolactic fermentation.

## Summary

Single-vineyard Barolo from the MGA Meriame cru, 335m above sea level, certified organic; ages about two years in 500-litre tonneaux and a further 8-10 months in ceramic amphora before bottling. The estate's 2020-vintage sheet lists 700 bottles produced.

## Tasting notes

Garnet red with a light ruby nuance. Intense, enveloping nose of cherry with notes ranging from citrus to rhubarb. Fresh and balanced on the palate with a silky tannic texture.
