## Tasting notes

Dark garnet with evident violet reflections. Enveloping dark fruit, a fine elderflower vegetal note and liquorice root. Warm and persistent on the palate, straight, clean and opulent, with the fleshiness of ripe fruit.

## Food pairings

Apericena with mocetta, buttered chestnuts, lard and stuffed vegetables. Also tagliolini with rabbit sauce, carbonara, roast kid or grilled capocollo.
