## Summary

Structured, harmonious Barbera d'Asti Superiore, aged 8 to 10 months in large casks. Barbera 100%, 14% vol.

## Tasting notes

Intense ruby red. Wood ageing adds sweet spice to the Barbera d'Asti character in a composite, continuous bouquet marked by a distinctive note of morello cherry. Full, intense but balanced on the palate with a wide persistence.

## Food pairings

Meat dishes, roasts and red meat, or ravioli quadri monferrini; also typical Piedmontese cheeses such as gorgonzola, bruss, toma and raschera. The house suggestion is tajarin with truffle.
