## Summary

Barbaresco DOCG from 20-year-plus Nebbiolo vines at Neive, aged 26 months with 10 in oak, 14% ABV.

## Tasting notes

Still, garnet red with ruby reflections; sour cherry and wild berry aromas that grow into the cocoa and vanilla of the oak. Elegant and balanced, with unobtrusive tannin and persistence. Good ageing potential.

## Food pairings

Traditional Piedmontese dishes with intense flavour: meat and vegetable dishes, furred and feathered game (boar, hare and pheasant civet), spit-roast and grilled red meats, aged cheeses, tajarin with hare ragu.
