## Summary

Vessillo is Cantina di Tortona's Barbera, grown on the clay soils of Viguzzolo and Costa Vescovato, on the Serravallian clays and Sant'Agata Fossili marls that the cooperative says bring out the best in the variety.

## Tasting notes

Intense purple colour. Red berries meet floral notes on the nose, with blackberry, redcurrant and blueberry jam. Medium to full bodied on the palate, fresh, with silky tannins and a pleasantly tannic, harmonious finish.
