## Summary

Aemilia Scauri is Cantina di Tortona's Timorasso riserva, from a rare, historic strain of the variety grown on a single 3.5 hectare vineyard in Viguzzolo; the cooperative was the first to replant and vinify this old Timorasso lineage in Piemonte. The name recalls the Roman road Via Aemilia Scauri, which linked Derthona to the Ligurian coast.

## Tasting notes

Deep golden yellow. Mineral on the nose with notes of hay and ripe fruit, and light balsamic hints of thyme and sage. A full bodied, structured white wine, savoury and fresh, with a very long finish.
