## Summary

Nonna Marcellina is Cagliero's Dolcetto d'Alba DOC, made from grapes grown in a dedicated 1-hectare vineyard on the estate at 320 m above sea level and aged briefly in steel to preserve its fruit character.

## Tasting notes

Ruby red in colour, sometimes with violet highlights, with a fresh, young bouquet recalling fruit and flowers; the palate is full and balanced with a characteristic final note of almond.

## Food pairings

Suits all courses of a meal, from starters to cheese; best avoided with heavily seasoned or very elaborate dishes.
