## Summary

The vineyard where Ca' del Baio's story began: Asili holds the fruit of the estate's oldest vines in an elegant, refined Barbaresco.

## Tasting notes

Bright garnet red with slight orange tinges. Intense nose of marasca cherry and violet, with spicy black pepper, liquorice and goudron. Dry, warm and soft on the palate, with a long, rich, smooth flavour.

## Food pairings

Braised and stewed red meats, game and very mature cheeses; a fine meditation wine with age.
