- **Producer:** Borgo Moncalvo
- **Style:** Red
- **Denomination:** Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG
- **Grape:** Barbera
- **Cru / vineyard:** La Pajassa
- **Soil:** Mix of Calcareous marls and Clay Limestone (Terra Bianca and Terra Rossa)
- **Vineyard planting:** Grapes come from an old vineyard planted in the 1950s and from a more recent one. Because of the altitude and the late ripening of the variety, particularly heavy thinning is needed.
