## Summary

The estate's most structured Barbera, barrel-aged and named after the Poggio delle Amarene vineyard; recently recognised in the Vini Buoni d'Italia guide as 'Monleale, Poggio delle Amarene 2023'.

## Tasting notes

Deep garnet red. Fine, persistent aroma of ripe red fruit with a pleasant herbaceous note on the finish. Warm, enveloping palate with good alcoholic structure, balanced by acidity and tannin. The estate recommends a large balloon glass.

## Food pairings

Braised and roasted meats, and feathered game.
