- **Producer:** Agricola Gian Piero Marrone
- **Style:** Red
- **Denomination:** Nebbiolo d'Alba Superiore DOC

- **Exposure:** South-east, 380 m a.s.l.
- **Harvest:** Manual, end of October
- **Vineyard planting:** Average planting year 1968, traditional Guyot
- **Vinification:** Production limited to 60 q/ha. Selection in the vineyard and at crushing, very gentle destemming with discarding of imperfect berries and stalks. Fermentation on the skins at 28 °C for 25 to 28 days. Malolactic fermentation in 30 hl oval wooden barrels. Batonnage on fine lees for 10 months, 18 to 20 months ageing in wood. Bottled under nitrogen cover.
