## Summary

Barbera d'Asti Superiore from selected old-vineyard grapes, aged 11 to 12 months in Allier barriques. About 7,000 bottles.

## Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with delicate violet shades. Intense notes of fruit in syrup and vanilla, followed by empyreumatic hints of cocoa, toast, caramel, roasted coffee and cooked fruit. On the palate it moves from fresh red fruit to jam, vanilla, spice and tar. Full, with an intense, persistent finish.
