## About

Vigneti Valle Roncati is a small family estate in Briona, in the Colline Novaresi of Alto Piemonte, farming about 9 hectares across Briona, Ghemme and Sizzano at roughly 260 metres above sea level. The family began vinifying its own grapes with the 2005 harvest and works partly by hand, with guyot training and grass kept between the rows.

The list leans on local grapes: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Vespolina and Uva Rara, bottled as Ghemme, Sizzano, Fara Riserva and several Colline Novaresi DOC wines, plus a Nebbiolo rosé, a passito and two sparklings. Briona sits in the morainic hills below Monte Rosa, in the province of Novara, where the soils are glacial in origin and the Ghemme, Sizzano and Fara appellations lie a few kilometres apart.
