## About

The estate has been in the family for over three generations: they first grew grapes on the hills of Mango, in the heart of the Moscato d’Asti area, and after a downturn in hillside farming in the 1960s and ’70s, returned to viticulture on the hills of Alba, at Madonna di Como, taking over Tenuta Langasco in 1979. The estate sits in the Langhe, in the hamlet of Madonna di Como about 5 km from Alba, an area cultivated with vines since Celtic and Roman times. It farms 25 hectares of vineyards, almost entirely planted to vine, in a single body around the winery, with full south/south-west exposure and soils of clay, calcareous marl and partly sandy substrates suited to Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo. Since the 2023 harvest the estate has been SQNPI-certified (National Integrated Production Quality System) for its sustainable, integrated pest-control approach to viticulture.
