## About

Prunotto began in 1904 as the cooperative Ai Vini delle Langhe and took its name from Alfredo Prunotto, who ran it before passing it to Beppe Colla in 1956. The Antinori family has worked with the house since 1989. Production is based in Alba, while visitors are received at the Cantina di Bussia in Bussia Soprana, near Monforte d'Alba. The estate farms small parcels and single vineyards across the Langhe and Monferrato, from Barolo and Barbaresco crus to Barbera in the Nizza zone. Vigna Colonnello and the amphitheatre vineyard of Bussia, where the first Barolo Bussia was made in 1961, are vinified in large oak barrels. The range also includes Dolcetto, Moscato d'Asti, Arveja and a Nebbiolo rosato.

- [Arveja](https://ilvinobello.com/wines/prunotto-arveja.md): Langhe DOC, 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 60% Erbaluce, White. Arveja takes its name from the blackberry briars that grow at the top of this 2-hectare vineyard; its cool, west-facing exposure intensifies Erbaluce's freshness alongside Sauvignon Blanc's…
- [Bansella](https://ilvinobello.com/wines/prunotto-bansella.md): Nizza DOCG, Barbera, Red. Bansella comes from the Nizza area, whose characteristic loam-and-sand-veined soils exalt Barbera's aromatics and freshness.
- [Barbaresco](https://ilvinobello.com/wines/prunotto-barbaresco.md): Barbaresco DOCG, Nebbiolo, Red. Prunotto's Barbaresco, produced from vineyards in Treiso and Neive, is an aristocratic yet accessible expression of Nebbiolo, aged in large oak barrels for balance and softness.
- [Barbera d'Alba](https://ilvinobello.com/wines/prunotto-barbera-d-alba.md): Barbera d'Alba DOC, Barbera, Red. A traditional, fresh and easy-drinking Barbera from clay-and-sand vineyards, balanced by short-term oak ageing.
- [Barolo](https://ilvinobello.com/wines/prunotto-barolo.md): Barolo DOCG, Nebbiolo, Red. A traditional Barolo, one of Prunotto's historic labels, whose first vintage was produced in 1905 from the best grapes of vineyards in the heart of the Barolo appellation.
- [Bric Turot](https://ilvinobello.com/wines/prunotto-bric-turot.md): Barbaresco DOCG, Nebbiolo, Red. Bric Turot takes its name from the "bricco" (hilltop) shape of the vineyard, whose diversified exposure and specific clonal selection give this Barbaresco its balanced, pleasant character.
- [Bricco Colma](https://ilvinobello.com/wines/prunotto-bricco-colma.md): Piemonte DOC, Albarossa, Red. Bricco Colma is made from Albarossa, a 1930s hybrid of Nebbiolo and Barbera created by Professor Dalmasso, grown in Monferrato as part of Prunotto's pioneering spirit.

- [Granadié](https://ilvinobello.com/wines/prunotto-granadie.md): Langhe DOC, Nebbiolo, Rosé. Granadié is a rosé born on the clay soils, veined with Tortonian-era sand, of the Langhe, surprising for its integration of rose and raspberry aromatics with a fresh, structured palate.
- [Mompertone](https://ilvinobello.com/wines/prunotto-mompertone.md): Monferrato DOC, Barbera, Syrah, Red. Mompertone comes from the Monferrato area, where limestone-clay soils veined with sand give the wine its round palate and elegant tannins.
